About Me The Artist
Hi there, I'm Heather. Welcome to My shop Backwood Pours. I don't know about you, but I've always had a thing for arts & craft, the creativity & endless possibilities behind it have always fascinated me. I love creating new beautiful things and having a challenge to go up against. & Most of all I love it when I create a piece for someone because it's something they can enjoy for themselves. I'm very thankful to anyone that even has interest in my pour addictions, it makes me feel good about the piece I made.
In Depth-
Born 1991, Heather Thats me is a St. Augustine FL. unparallel artist in resin/wood & clay art, as well as a muralist & sometimes abstract from a very small town in the Backwoods of Ocala FL. My works inspiration is a combination between Fine Art, stylized as in Fauvism & Expressionism & Sculpting as well as everything that's incorporated into my everyday life.
When I was younger, I could vividly remember my mother using realism in her drawings & I absolutely loved it & that's when & how I knew being & becoming an artist is what I wanted to do & be. Now as I've grown, I enjoy the Beach, the night life, & traveling to get a whole new perspective & motivation, from the worlds influence- which in return gives me the capacity to use my everyday surroundings to create.
It hasn't been too long ago I moved shore side with my partner to try and help build a life for our family.
I'm an artist from my roots. So, if you choose my shop to put your trust in to create something amazing for you, I promise to try my best to meet your expectations. I specialize in making different resin and clay wood decor & sculptures. I do take commissions/personalized orders you just have to get ahold of me at the number placed above & below
Backwood Pours Philosophy
As an artist I wish to provide an environment that leads to a productive business. I don't fear failure, but I do fear not trying. When we fall, we're supposed to get back up and try again which in return makes us stronger. You can't sit back and wait for your dream to come to you; you have to put in the time, effort, love & hard work in order for it to come true. Most of us must learn to love others & use things rather than loving things & using others. Don't wait for the right moment to start, just start now and make each moment feel right & worth it. So be creative in everything you do, have the self-honesty to admit when your wrong & the courage to change when needed.

I am a self-taught Artist so everything I make is One of a kind. Being an artist is a lifestyle to me because I enjoy & love doing it so much. I am a Florida based Artist that has the pleasure to provide you with unparalleled art.
